LA CONDITION HUMAINE

Is replication of reality as valuable as the real one?

Over thousands of years, capturing and representing the reality into the virtual world has long been an established part of human life. Virtual reality will soon to capture human expe- riences like never before. But is it really superior to what artists achieved centuries ago?

In the perception of the spectator as a human being, reality and illusion are intermingled into a simultaneous experience of space in which all the boundaries are blurred, raising questions about origin and replica, about reality and illusion and about different values attributed to them. What is more real - and does it really matter to distinguish it one from another?

Sero paris 2018 fall/winter explores and walks the fine line between the perception of reality and the visualization of reality.

As it feels you are stepping into an alternate universe, a place where nothing is entirely as it seems.
